Don loves the constant challenge of running a real estate office in this vibrant and competitive market. He loves the sense of fulfilment in the sale of a home and the satisfaction of a well managed rental property, especially when it’s for the old friends and repeat clients that form the core of McNaughton Estate Agents.
Growing up in a Werribee real estate family, Don naturally chose a property related path for his tertiary studies. Having completed the Diploma of Valuations course at RMIT while working part-time in the family business, Don spent the next few years working interstate in the varied fields of administration and scrap metal before settling for finance broking in Sydney.
In 1983 he returned to work with his brother Adrian and father John. In quick succession Don gained his Estate Agents and Auctioneers licenses on the way to taking over the business on his own in 1988.
